Road tokio
Two -voices conversation with Carolina Marín and Guillermo Sánchez
Dear reader,
Road tokyo is the number with which we turned a year since we started this new stage. Yes, a year since we started. A year that, for some issues or others, will always remain in our memory. And as a tribute to those who have accompanied us since the beginning and those that have been incorporated throughout this time, we bring you a very special number.
We start with an interview with an entire Olympic champion and the world, the Huelva Carolina Marín, and her physical trainer and largely responsible for her successes, Guillermo Sánchez . We include an article by one of the greatest international specialists in technology and strength training, Dr. Carlos Balsalobre , who tells us about the different possibilities that we can find in our mobile phones to evaluate performance in a simple and economical way. In addition, we have another super researcher trained in that kind of farmhouse from the Sports Sciences that is the University of Granada, Dr. Borja Martínez Téllez . Borja brilliantly details the role of intestinal bacteria about our health and answers the question of whether physical exercise can really modify their composition and function. To round the cast of collaborators, another young researcher who is crossing a lot in recent years, Dr. Julián Alcázar . In this case, Julian tells us the importance of functional capacity and muscle power within healthy aging.
Finally, our usual signatures. Pedro puts the focus on a topic that is always currently as is the role of physical form and physical activity levels as one of the main risk factors. Adri tells us about a world for many unknown, but relevant to our health and even for performance improvement: the physiology of the depths. Finally, Javi makes a complete review of the athlete's heart and if he begins to develop from childhood or already in adult ages.
Thank you for reading and continuing to make Fissac a place of learning and continuous teachings.
