Making more than 10 flexions in a row decreases cardiovascular risk

In a longitudinal study of 10 years, participants who could complete more than 10 flexions presented a significant reduction of cardiovascular risk compared to those who completed less. Those who could do more than 40 had a 96%reduction. In addition, it was seen that the decrease in cardiovascular risk was more linear in the flexions than with the VO2 Max parameter. These results suggest that it is reasonable to evaluate the functional status in clinic through basic or questionnaire tests.
