Exercise produces multiple benefits in people with metabolic problems. Because circadian rhythms and metabolism are closely intertwined, a relevant aspect when programming an intervention in people with insulin resistance could be the time of the day it trains. Adjusting training schedule to circadian rhythms could improve glucose control in patients with pathologies such as type II diabetes.
